Black x100 after 18 days broken

Black x100 after 18 days broken

Enjoyed my black x100 for just 18 days.......then curtain of he ovf/evf got stuck and also dust inside viewer, how is that possible?
Send now for repair.
Hope overall quality is better then it now promises.

Things may go bad, that's how it happens. Good news are they can be repaired, I hope yours is under warranty.

They all get dust in the finder. The finder window getting stuck is not a common problem i.e. yours is the first I've heard of.

It is stuck half way. First I could still use EVF although a little weird look through it, then completely stuck, no OVF/EVF anymore.
This happened just like that, one moment it did work, the other it was stuck.
It is under warranty because only 18 days old.........
Just was enjoying the OVF more and more.

I suppose it's a fairly cheap camera with fairly complex parts in it, hopefully your repaired one fairs better! For what it's worth mine lives in a non-padded day bag that's gone everywhere with me for the last year and I trust it 100%

Got it back after 2 1/2 weeks.
It is good now and fuji did even adjusted the macro mode so it is really sharp now.
Hope it will be in good shape for a long time now!

Same thing just happened to my black x100. Damn. Back to fuji it goes this Monday. time to dust off my QL17!
