15mm Voigtlander Super Wide Heliar f/4.5 on the M9 and M6

I've done a user report for anyone interested or thinking about using this lens on M mount cameras.

Including comprehensive instructions on using Cornerfix.

It can be found here - http://aperturepriority.co.nz/2012/0...5-asph-mk-1-3/

Thanks for your testing and posting this! I love this lens for the FOV, and use it on my M7. It's a unique lens and you've done it proud!

I didn't notice this thread when you first posted it.... nice job on the user report. I used this lens on my M8 but sold it when I got an M9 thinking the corners would be unfixable. I think I'll have to give it another try. You mention lack of filter threads as a negative. The new version has 52mm threads as well as being rangefinder coupled... welcomed upgrades.

Thanks, yes the latest version resolves both those issues, think it might cost a bit more but certainly not much. Cheers, Jason.

Beautifully written by an exceptionally talented photographer. I use my Voigtlander 15 mm on my M6 and Ricoh GXR and just love it. Thanks so much! That's a keeper...TW

Your article was a really good read! Thanks for sharing it.

I love my 15/4.5! And use it pretty often on both my digitals and M6, but after reading your words and seeing your beautiful pictures, I feel like I dont use it enough!

It's a jolly nice little lens. I used to hang it on my M3 with an adaptor but I bought I Bessa L as its permanent home and it's even nice on that.

Thanks, I've had so much positive feedback, especially from people that had given up on the lens and who were now using it thanks to the report. It's great to hear. Or as in your instance were just motivated to use it more frequently.

Cheers

Jason
