Just have to say something nice

Ok, so a few years ago (g) Fuji gave us Provia. If for no other reason they have my eternal gratitude. But lets stop and think about what's happened in the past 4 years.

X100, X-Pro, Xe. And now we hear Zeiss is looking at autofocus lenses in the x-mount? Leica gave us one camera every decade or so. The ZI was (and still is) big news.

Nope, they're not there yet and we're all still dreaming of an affordable true RF digital to hang our paid-for L/Z/V glass on. But they are painfully close and have brought some real innovation to the market. Let's not over-analyze and be very grateful that Fuji has noticed this screwball sector of the market that is RF.

Thanks You Fuji (now keep em coming)

Any company that still makes film and supports RF's has my support but I just got an M8.2 and golly-gee that's one damned nice camera. The most fun I've had since my first Barnack.

Agreed. I'm profoundly happy with my X-Pro 1, in particular, and Fuji, in general. When I left Leica after 23 years to go to Nikon DSLR, I was extremely dissatisfied. Changing over to this new Fuji system is the perfect fit for me. I just pray it continues to be supported.

I feel the same way.

After the first two weeks with my X100, I was very greatful Fuji decided to produce an APS-C camera I old carry and use similar to my old Canonet QL-17. My gratitude grew when I started to use the X-Pro 1 this year. When the 23/1.4 and 56/1.4 ship next year, I will finally have a digital replacement for my Zeiss Ikon M 28, 35, 50, 85 system.

I too am rather happy with Fuji these last few years. Being able to do the dance that Kodak were incapable of, and churning out interesting products in both camps. I'm ditching my DSLR kit, camera, lenses and all. No more CaNikon for the time being.

I am glad fuji came out w/ the x100 and xp/xe series. They are a breath of fresh air compared to what every one else has been doing.

Fuji and Sony w/ Rx series --> shaking it up. Going to be fun seeing how everyone responds in coming years .

I have a tiny Fuji F30, the X100 and just a few days old, an xpro1 with 35mm 1.4.
Looks like there's something about Fuji as it seems to be taking me over and pushing out some of my fave cameras. My beloved RD1 will have to leave if the Xpro proves as good as my X100 and my tiny GRD IV will go too.
Maybe when or if other brands catch up with Fujis thinking then I may switch but at this point Fuji is King (for me anyway).
