Short answer is... not normally. But on a recent work trip to Puerto Rico, I decided not to bring my camera gear - then regretted it when I had an opportunity to wander the old city of San Juan. Used my iPhone 4 to take some great images, good enough to create a Blurb book.

I use my iPad camera more often because it's a better camera and makes emailing the result very simple.

I use the mobile phone camera often, and more so recently since my M is seriously out of calibration.

I use mine a lot. I used it this afternoon to work with an art director scout an upcoming ad shoot. I have done two magazine articles with it and did a show of 9x9 prints, have a 30" x 30" from it on my wall at home.
My iPhone 5 is my favorite digital camera.

I use my phone camera only if i need to send some pictures to someone or ask is that right or something. For photography I don't use it.

I use my iPhone 4 for note taking, and the occasional snap. One use is for my pets. I added the Camera + app that does such a good job for focus and editing.

Well, I've got to update this post of mine...
I have a newer phone with a better camera now than when I posted my first reply...
I have actually taken almost 1200 pictures with mine to date...I've used it to post here and on FB...I've taken pictures for ideas, reminders and for instructions...I find it now an interesting and useful tool...I also forget I have it at times which is fine...that just means it's not my "go to" camera...

I use mine all the time. It has a lens that is roughly 35mm focal length and I can shoot square format. It's a similar view to my Ricoh TLR. It's a great way to try something creative. I also use the light meter app sometimes which does a credible job and is handy once in awhile. Its the camera that is always with me.

My answer has changed since I originally voted.. I would choose 'all the time' now. My current phone's IQ is much better than my old one..

Never. I even wanted to buy a cell phone without a camera, but they don't make them like that anymore...

I have to say that I have started to use mine much more since discovering the VSCO Cam app. I've since gone from hating using my phone to actually quite enjoying it!

The first, last and only time I used the camera in my cell phone was to take a series of photos of the inside of my pants pocket. I had always wondered what my wallet saw in there, and now I know.

My Samsung SII has a really nice 8Gb camera, and I use it all the time for progress shots and records of things happening in my shop. One thing that it's particularly good at is close-ups. I haven't used it for anything really serious yet, but not because it couldn't handle the job.

This is all very reminiscent of the arguments over film/digital some years ago...

I really like shooting with my camera phone, something I found surprising, but having a camera that is always with you is a great boon. Unfortunately, the quality of my camera phone is not great, and very similar to my first digital camera, with the heavy handed noise reduction announcing itself loudly in anything printed larger than snapshot size.
EDIT: I voted every once in a while for my camera phone usage, but that would change to all the time, if I had a better camera phone. I never imagined being so taken in by the combination of touch screen and the ability to edit and post/ share in real time, but I like everything about the cameraphone shooting experience. I can very much see why compact camera manufacturers should be very concerned. A camera phone is all the camera most people need/ want for snapshots.

I use mine everyday, mostly for instagram.
Though the camera in my phone is great on its own.
