Gallery Picks is an opportunity for you to post a heads up to what you have seen during the past seven days at RFF that you like.
There's no membership requirement, no criteria (except past seven days), no voting, no limit to the number of photos mentioned, and everybody mentioned is a winner.

Anybody can start the thread on a Monday.

Anybody can join in, it's a community event!

I would like to refer everybody to the beautiful B+W landscapes that Koolzakukumba posted in the Gallery last week. To many great photos to mention. Take Redhead Cliff and Rannoch Moor as examples, but please check out his entire series:

The other picture I really liked was Girl and Pup by f16sunshine:

Thanks,

Roland.

thanks Harry, Richard G, tigerphil, and Jim for mentioning my photos. What I liked this week in the Gallery:

53 years, one day by Robklurfield. A fine selfie. If this was un-cropped I take my hat off!

nude on piano #2 by Mcary. I liked the lovely lines, classic pose, and lighting.

Two by Koolzakukumba. I have a hard time picking a favourite from Bruce's photos. I could happily mention all of them here.
Loch Freuchie

Muddy Path

3D Graffiti by photony texas. Intriguing and graphically strong double-exposure.

P1230373 by Petronius. Light, shadow, framing, timing, all come together.

From the Corner by taskoni. The mother's tenderness and the child's inquisitive gaze made this special.

stolen 2 by dotur. I liked the composition, tonality, and the mystery of the hidden face.

1st Avenue at 9th Street by Mlehrman. I liked the characters and action in this street catch.

thanorm.2 by filmfan. Fun!

continued...

...some more

handicap blue 2 by paulfish4570. Strong abstract by Paul..

Taken by Drink Part 2 by f16sunshine. Well lit, strong character study by Andy.

Glass by barnwulf. Jim's eye is as sharp as his lenses.

Jo by Kiev Ilegelac. Lovely expression in this warm, sympathetic portrait.

the invisible woman by Keith. Everyday scenes made special by Keith's eye.

Design Hub, RMIT by Richard G. Strong graphic design in this series from Richard.

Kirchturm by ChEc. Painterly study in light and colour.

Two's company-2 jesse1dog

Liked the composition and placement of the subjects, and I could have sworn the picture was in B&W.

Love the square patches of lighting in the street and the wonderful tones in the rest of the composition.

Lynn and Greg, thanks. Greg, do keep your hat on. I must not tell a lie: it was cropped. The 15's field of view is so wide and focus so deep that I might have your house somewhere in the background in the uncropped version.
