Cool, this 80mm Planar is a rare bird. Never seen one before... do you have a pic of the barrel? Just curious...

Thanks kshapero, haempe. No I haven't had the pic of Planar, but will do it later today in the evening. I've just got it less then a week ago. And unfortunately haven't yet had a time to try it Promise to do it over the week-end...

Nice one Kristian!

I had to show my old calculator, so here is, what's in my bag today:

I love my HP-32Sii by teknopunk.com, on Flickr

… shot with M9 and UC-Hex
I hope, Kodak will find a solution, that TriX survives us all - my favorite film together with Fuji Neopan 400.

Absolutely certain that I am going to regret asking the following question, but I have studied the picture and have to ask "Why do you carry the nuts in your bag?"

Hehe - Alistair - the MP wears a Leicavit and it's quite a hefty camera that way.
Nuts are to equal out the heft, the digital M lacks, I took the picture with ;-)

Seriously, I love the facial expression of people, when I grab in my bag, ask "Want some nuts?" and reach out my handful of nuts to them ;-)

No really, I just happened to have a bag of nut samples in my bag that day, not every day though, really.

Mike, I got this HP since school in daily use until Today and a normal calculator always stops me in my tracks.
People look funny at me, when I cannot operate a calculator and type things all wrong ;-)

The nuts were an exception Kristian ;-)
The MP apparently get's way too little use as well - I am mostly shooting the M9 and M8.2.

is that because I was 'nuts' to buy the Monochrom? If so, I'm a huge nut fan

That may just be an original Elmar lens, but the rest is the artists prerogative: nothings looks like a true Leica, every feature of it was 'enhanced', 'elaborated' or 'interpreted'

Beautiful. I, for one, LOVE the M5. love how it looks and love how it works....and I've always thought it looks best with a small, compact lens.
