NICE!

Love the pastels and the swirl. That lens is agreeing very well with the nice M3 you got there

Cool shot retrochick! Gotta love those 75+ yr-old lenses!

It's about time I give my 1932 Elmar 50/3.5 and 1939 Elmar 90/4.0 a spin again...

I really enjoyed this thread, thanks all.
It looked to me like the Elmar 3.5 really shines in B&W.

Thank you. It is a nice portrait lens on a M8 with crop factor. I've only tried once to use it as a portrait non-cropped and was a little disappointed with the minimum focus distance. It was a child with a real small head and I wanted to get closer. I'll try it again now that you've mentioned it.

Nash,

thank you for sharing.

The cat & oven picture looks qiute nice.
Did you use a lens hood on the construction site image with the hexagonal flare?

Two more pictures with my black Leica III and Hektor 73 mm f/1.9:

Leica III bl_Hektor 73 1,9_02_Adox CHS 50_009 von thomas.78 auf Flickr

There seems to be some glow at the left arm.

Thank you! I love the images taken with the Hektor 7.3cm in this thread. Its a shame that the lens is so expensive. I would love to shoot a roll with the lens.

No lens hood was used in any of the shots, although I did learn to use the hood for future outdoor usage.
