| Digital Leica M8 / M8.2 / M9 / M-E /Mono / M10 aka "M" Discussions about the Leica M8 /M 8.2 / M9 / M9-P/ M-E / M Monochrom / M10 aka "M": Leica digital M mount rangefinder cameras. Naming the new digital M the "Leica M" is VERY unfortunate as it will only confuse newbies with other Leica M cameras of the the past. Happily there is room for confusion with only the past 59 years of Leica M production ... since Leica introduced the Leica M system in 1953. All Hail for the Leica Marketing Department learning Leica M history! |

Wow! Beautiful photos! And that little Canon 28/3.5 is a great performer on the M9.

Nice photos of what appears to be a lovely, lovely place!
But I'm surprised that you're allowed to smoke in heaven...

... yes, beautiful, but it's a shame that the modern world will come racing down those new smooth Chinese roads

These can't have been taken with an M9! As all non-M9 owners know, M9s are hopelessly unreliable and explode if they are used actually to take pictures.
Seriously, though: gorgeous pictures; thanks.
Cheers,
R.

I looked at these pics earlry morning (at work) on non calibrated cheapo screen and I thought, great pictures but that lens sucks, what a waste. Now at home coming back looking at the pics again, wow what a difference on a proper monitor. Thanks for sharing. That must have been an experience of a lifetime.

Wonderful photos, all with that unique M9 rendering. They remind me of when I went to China in 2007 and I had a Canon G7 and Fuji Natura Black; if I could do it again, I would take the M9.
