Actually a meterless Nikon F with a CV 40/2 (my favorite combo) weighs about the same as a Leica M3 with a 50mm 'cron.

Raid,
it should be this lens:

Any reason, this can't be mounted?
I'm eventually thinking about such a setup, too.

As this is a "porn" thread I thought i might as well ask it here, can anyone do me a favour and compare the shutter sounds from Minolta XG series (mainly the XG1) and the one on X-700. I watched a video on yotube and the XD11 (which should be rich man's XG) sound is the best-sounding SLR shutter (or should I say mirror) sound I heard so far.

My Chinon Memotron CE II, covered in green leather.
Shot with a 1999 Nikon D1 and a 1961 Nikkor-S 1.4/58mm
Old glass rules, and old DSLR's do too...
