August in Kuwait and September in Iraq during 2004 were pretty brutal. It regularly hit 56 degrees.
Celsius.
So, walking around in sub-100 degree temperatures in jeans and a nice cool shirt, drinking plenty of water was fine today. My right foot is a bit sore from a blister developing but other than that it was a good day.

I rode 20+ miles my bike today with temp at about 96. I was glad to make it home to air conditioning. I love the heat, but this may have been a few degrees too much for even my tastes today. The last mile, I had some doubts about getting up that last little hill. Ugh! I did stop to take a few pictures. Hoping the emulsion didn't melt off the film.

Northern Virginia/DC weather was in the mid to upper 90s (F) yesterday. Today might hit 99 or 100. I work in an air conditioned building and don't have to get out much. Yesterday wasn't so bad to me. Before radiation treatment, hot weather didn't bother me much. Sometimes now it does. I did notice yesterday on the way home that not too many tourists were wandering the DC streets.

I've started to keep a window open at night. With lows dipping to the very mild 50*°F/12°C range
