That's what you get for too many cat shots. :P
Seriously, just get a new one, not much of an investment.

Flush it down the toilet. That's the usual way to dispose of dead pets.

Logitech Mx510. That sucker just holds up for some reason. It's lasted longer than any other mouse in my house. Exterminator-proof. And it gets used and abused. I've seriously had it since like 2005 or something.
Magic Mouse is great though... enjoy it!

My dog eats Logitech mice. Doesn't care much for apples though.

Maybe it needs energy. Feed it some cheese.
Or get an optical mouse.

The magic mouse is great. I got sick of always trying to clean that little ball on the "mighty mouse".

That scroll nipple on the Magic Mouse seems to jam up pretty easily. We just replaced one with the Magic Trackpad, and it's much nicer once you adjust.

Funny you ask that... my daughter was just recently complaining about her magic mouse because it eats through batteries if she doesn't turn it off.
Now, she's 18, so take that with a grain of salt... Not sure what her definition of "eats through" is...

I don't, too much of a turn-off.

You need a proper chrome hand crafted mouse from Germany, with regular service/CLA it will outlive you...
