I find that 85mm lenses prove to be very useful for photojournalism, especially since I can't spring for a 2.8 tele zoom.

D700 + 85mm f/1.8D, probably all at ISO 1600

Bought a Nikon F80 recently and already took a couple hundred shots.
These are real X-Pro pictures and no PP applied.

Cool stuff. I never even thought to look in RFF for an SLR forum.

Here is my #1 all time favourite image, and it happened to be made before I sold all my DSLR gear and jumped into rangefinder. I will get back into doing these type of photos with my M8 as soon as I can buy a lens longer than 50mm. I have set the bar high for myself, but I always love a challenge.

you won't see such pictures from me often: digital + street
I am more into analog and landscape or candids and such... Anyways, I had lots of fun taking these during the Hamburg Cyclassics last year.

Nikon D700
MF Nikkor 4.5/80-200 mm (first picture)
Tokina ATX-AF Pro 2.6-2.8/28-70 mm (the other pictures, though not quite sure)
