or passionate about what he loves to do and believes in exposing the truth's of the world?

I feel breaking down this to "very confident" or on a death mission is a bit asinine

I think your option is closer.

Someone has to take the photos and bear witness so that the world can see. Even at the risk of death. It's far more important than pretty pictures of flowers or puppies or brick walls.

Good luck.

8 months of peaceful protests while sustaining casualties daily. After the 8 months, the Syrian army intensified the crackdown (and # of killings) and FSA arose to defend what they could (defectors from Syrian army). While i'm not there to confirm this, i've followed the developments in Syria as best I could since the "arab spring" began.

I too have been following the developments in Syria with great interest. What you say about eight months of peaceful protests is the standard western media narrative. While there is plenty of fault that lies with the government, there is also evidence that the "revolution" was armed from the very beginning.

For example, google "Sibel Edmunds Syrian revolution is not Syrian" and check out her interview on YouTube.

Like with every other digital camera thread, this one has been a real mixed bag.
