Canonet Junior question

I just received my eBay Canonet Junior. $0.99. Sure, shipping was high, but still, it appears to be a fully functioning $21 camera.

Anyhow, everything appears to work well, but I want to test the meter. I know this Canonet is "fully automatic", but the meter only shows shutter speed. How can I test the meter on this to see if the aperature, and shutter speed together, are OK? I know if you set the aperture manually, then the shutter speed will be fixed at 1/30. But, the meter doesn't care...it just does it's own thing. (regardless, I have a roll of film in the camera now...I guess that will be the test...???)

BTW, these cameras are a blast. I now have a QL-17 GIII, QL-19 GIII, and Junior. They all work with just a few nuiances that I'll be fixing over the next few weeks.

A search brought up little, if none, on the Junior. Also, every Canonet search topic was in the Canon RF forum. I really hope everything doesn't get moved.
