Luigi, Domke, M8, and Me
I'm a grab and dump kind of photographer. Don't like hard cases; don't like to fuss; like going 1st class, but don't want to make a show of it.
I mostly use a wrist strap. However, I like the option of a neck strap.
First 2 pics are of Luigi's clip-on wrist strap and extra clips I installed onto the original Leica rubbery neck strap. It grips, is comfortable, and is about as inconspicuous as anything you can get. Another option is one of my thin Domke "gripper" straps that I like a lot.
The third pic is of some cheap spongy lens pouches I picked up at Bel Air Camera in L.A. About $8 ea. Well built, nice cinch-cord closers, and good protection.
Pic #4 shows the pouches and camera in my oldest and smallest Domke case (F6, "Little Bit Smaller"), and #5 is the close case. The glass with tinted water is for scale only.
Almost forgot to mention that the thingy on top of the camera is an AUFSU waistfinder.
