HU: Canon 9500 printer
I have been waiting patiently since the Canon 9500 printer was announced over a year ago. The printer was finally released less than a month ago. But Canon has confirmed that delaers who have the printer are not allowed to sell it. The printer has not been recalled but there was a "problem with shipping" and dealers have been told not to sell the printer until this "problem" has been corrected. The person I talked to said he did not know what the "problem" was.
I really wanted this printer to be a viable option in the printer arena, but now, after waiting for more than a year for Canon to work out the bugs and bring the unit to production, this latest (on going?) problem has me spooked.
