40 Nokton vs 35 Summilux

I was looking at the lens design of the Nokton, wondering how they got it to be so small & I noticed that it's almost a dead-ringer for the first pre-Aspherical 35 Summilux (1961). Does anyone have both of these or seen comparison shots with both to see similarities/differences?
