| Digital Leica M8 / M8.2 / M9 / M-E /Mono / M10 aka "M" Discussions about the Leica M8 /M 8.2 / M9 / M9-P/ M-E / M Monochrom / M10 aka "M": Leica digital M mount rangefinder cameras. Naming the new digital M the "Leica M" is VERY unfortunate as it will only confuse newbies with other Leica M cameras of the the past. Happily there is room for confusion with only the past 59 years of Leica M production ... since Leica introduced the Leica M system in 1953. All Hail for the Leica Marketing Department learning Leica M history! |

These are great!
3, 9, 10, and 11 don't really fit the set though IMO.

All but 3 of these I asked.
The kid over the shoulder, the smokers and the sax man with cigarette were all in the moment.

Thanks there are all part of a large project I've been working on in ernest since getting the MM and 35 lux. I have a couple of working titles and I am not yet to the editing process. Not even close but hopeful the title will help pull it all together if not two separate projects so thanks so much for the comments. Still very much a work in progress and in its very early stages.

Looking over once more, and just to elaborate a little, 10 is one that stands well on its own and perhaps with other photos in line with "curious" street sights.
9 is a doesn't work for me because of the girl in the middle, otherwise I think I'd like it more.

First set of shots is great, I'm jealous.
The following ones don't feel quite as intimate (still very good shots, just my personal preference), probably because they're not as close, so they don't have the same immediate impact, as you've said though, they're a small part of a larger project, so I don't know where they fit in the larger whole, although I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more and finding out.

So thank you ALL for your words and taking the time to look at the work. When your in the forest sometimes all you see is the tree and not the forest. First working title Fleeting Moments? I have a few more thought running through my crazy head.

Absolutely fabulous set! Kudos on the exhibit/show, keep us posted.
Can't pick a fav, but I think it must be the guy with the clip-on shades.

Love the set of work. A good eye for the scenes is shown.
