Two Zunow's sold for a ton of money tonight

And I was seriously chasing after one of them.

Part of me says I was glad I didn't get it.

Zunow 1: Black LTM, ebay 261080695647, ending at $4938

Zunow 2: chrome Contax mount, ebay 350586933508, ending at $5172

The LTM Zunow was described as an "M-mount". It clearly had an M adapter on it, and no M-mount Zunows were ever made.

The condition of the glass did not seem optimal (may have been poor photos), and it was a zero-feedback seller.

It may or may not have been a good deal. There were several reasons for caution.

Once my kids are finished with their education, the car paid off, the house refurbished a bit, the retirement account bolstered to bullet-proof levels, and my charitable donations put right, I'll go looking for a Zunow, should any be left at that time (Contax, Nikon, or LTM - who cares, the camera body is just a detail with a lens like that).

I look forward to that day. And should it ever arrive, I'll be sure to post photo samples here first!
