Brand-new iPad here comes the truth thousand four MacBook Pro.... That was dictation on the iPad. Let's try that again, but typing and inEnglish. Brand new New iPad and a 2004 MacBook pro. Time for new MacBook.

That's an interesting bug. You should file it.

I've run the latest VueScan build (can't remember the number at the moment) to drive my Epson 2450 flatbed/transparency scanner, the HP 6500 multipurpose scanner, and the Nikon Coolscan V ED, running on Mountain Lion. No problems at all.
