Should wait for the successor of 5N

Hi all,

I wanna use my SC mount lens in digital. I notice 5N is quite good with wide lens.

But I am hesitating that should I buy 5N now or wait for its successor.

there is no guarantee its successor will be as good with wide lenses in the corners.

What more are you really expecting from a 5n successor... the Nex 5n is already exceptional

Why not wait for the 6... or 7... or 8...?

You can wait until you die.

Cheers,

R.

I think the nex F3 is a better bet. slightly larger, due to the bulkier size the shutter is also more muffled. you get to us the evf as well... built in pop up . F3 with the kit 18-55 its the same price as 5n body only. according to BHphoto.

One can never be sure what the present will bring, and only what could have been done in the future.

But if the question has the "will the successor be coming to the market soon?" in mind, then that much is certain: the NEX-F3 was announced back in May.

Whether one should depends on many things, not stated here, of course.
