My summer is going to be a bit crazy bopping around only being home a couple times a week. It is fun openning my mailbox each time to see what is waiting for me.

I've been busy with my head down in the studio. My wife passed 6 more cards onto me this morning out of the mail stack.

Qendrim (qhoti) ~ Toronto, Canada
Aad (jippiejee) ~ Rotterdam, Netherlands
Joe (eyesglassy) ~ Euclid, OH, USA
Ralph (rover) ~ Manchester, CT, USA
Ben (semordnilap) ~ Juneau, AK, USA
Olivier (Sylvester) ~ Toronto, Canada

I've got 51 so far.

* Harry Teasley - unusual perspective on an elephant, tormented by something just out of reach
* Q. Hoti - heartbreaking shot of a wayward pooch in Kosovo
* Keith Leonin - excellent street portrait from the Philippines, wonderful subject and environment
* Kevin Landdeck - Great shot from a "Dachsund Derby" (who knew?) BTW the printing looks great
* Ken R - Very unusual angle on the Brooklyn bridge, never seen before
* Kent Demas - Wonderful street shot from Chinese New Year (SF)
* Elvin Lubis - Excellent image of a very intimidating guy (street fair?)
* Jim Woodard - Mysterious and beautiful image that I can't figure out
* Aad (Jippiejee) - Superb shot of a street vendor in a swarm of pigeons, great scene
* Olivier Sylvestre - Outstanding portrait of guitarist Jean Leloup, really love the tones in this
* Ralph Meliso - Very nice shot of a boy waiting his turn at a carnival, wonderful capture of a moment
* Rob (our fearless leader) contributes a gorgeous shot of mist rising from a lake (upstate NY?)
* Joe Friend - Awesome scene from the ball park, and captured with a little Oly XA!
* John Cordingley - Lovely shot of a stand of trees in low-angle light, beautiful tones and form
* Ben from Boston - Striking image from Tibet, desolate and surreal, took a good eye to see this

That still only brings me to 46, hope these are not getting lost somewhere...

Anyway, THANKS to all of you, I am greatly enjoying receiving your work, and I am proud to participate.

Randy
Sorry I mislaid you, I only wanted some of those who'll get my cards to listen to the music of my favourite guitarist/singer from Québec. Jean Leloup is like... Our Jimmy Hendrix?
The guitarist was a blues player I met when I went in New York this year. Thanks for the compliments about the portrait!

Randy,
Yes, that photo was taken at Raquette Lake here in the Adirondacks. This is where I happily live and work about ten months of the year.

I've been traveling the past couple of weeks, but came home to a rather large stack of awesome cards. Made sitting down to go through mail an excellent, rather than execrable, experience.

Here in Mexico my card inventory number is at 49, so just 9 more to go.

Yesterday two weeks elapsed since I mailed the first batch of cards, I hope they get to their destinations in just a few days!

Thanks to Mike (Harrogate) after 11 dry days an additional card was in my post box. My count is now 52 (without my own).
Double checking the well done list of seakayker1, I only miss the following cards by today:
Quote:
Gareth ~ Toronto, ON, Canada
Martin ~ Deicka, Czech Republic
Jason ~ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Oscar ~ Fracc. Misiones de la Noria, Mexico City, Mexico
Shakif ~ Twickenham, Middlesex, UK
Pavel ~ Rollo, MO
This makes six: We are already over 90 % and this is an excellent outcome for a wide spread international mailing project.
