Aires 35-V flea market find

Found this camera today at a local flea market for $10. It comes with the 4.5cm f/1.5 S Coral lens.

Everything except for the meter is working and it has a very bright rangefinder. I had to tweak the rangefinder a bit to bring it back to proper focus..

The sale included the metal lens cap, case, and a non-working Minicam Twinklite..

This model had interchangable lens with 3 different focal lengths 3.5cm, 4.5cm, and 10cm..

I'll have to load it up and see how well it performs..

The 35 V is the best of all Aires r/f cameras and the only one designed with interchangable lens, as Colyn already pointed out. If in good condition, it can perform quite well accoding to what I've been told. I once handled one and quite liked it.
Massimo Betacchi has a nice overview on Aires and its cameras on his website: http://corsopolaris.net/supercameras/aires/aires.html
