Just downloaded this ebook for my ipad from his website for 6 euros. 600 over pages with text and pictures, this thing is fantastic! I wanted to buy the hardcover but it was always a bit on the pricey side.

I think you just put your CC details into the paypal website and they do their own conversion, usually a small % of the total price.

You can use credit card company conversion, which is better deal than PayPal's own. Paypal takes its transaction fee off you anyway, no reason to pay extra.

What's the format of the book? PDF, or a real ebook format (epub, mobi)?

The download comes with both epub and mobi files.

Yes real ebook format so works very well with kindle app and ipad's Ibook app. iBooks app has a night reading mode which turns the background colour dark grey, perfect for reading in bed with the lights off!

I´ve downloaded it to my MacBook Air but cannot open either file. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The Leica Chronicle ebook would not download to my iPad. After about one minute, the download expired. The file to download is in some kind of zip file, which I guess my iPad does not like.

I emailed Mr. Puts about the download issue.

Here's what I did:

Download file on my computer, unzip it and drag the epub file into itunes. Then click the "books" tab in iTunes and sync it as if it were an app or song.

You can read it on the computer using an ebook reader such a Nook or Calibre.
