Thank you Helen!

Here's two more taken with my 35/1.2 V2.

This is a busy underpass near Galata Bridge. These guys have set up shop in the small space between the hand railing and the wall.

Any further conclusions about the v2 vs the v1? The images above look great! Nice and sharp and contrasty!

I compared my V2 with a friend's V1 shortly after I got it. The V2 had a slight edge in sharpness and contrast wide open but the difference was minimal. The main differences are the 0.50m min. focus distance (for the M4/3 and similar) and bayonet attachment hood of the V2.

Here's a recent one from Budapest, on the banks of the Danube.

Such an amazing lens. I had one for over a year, but never really used it much - probably due to the size. Big mistake.

This is Neopan 1600 @ ISO 1600. No filter. Its was dusk, so this is how the light was. I switched from a 28/2.8 to the Nokton 35/1.2 so I could get the shot in the rapidly diminishing light.

compared to my 50/2 and 90/2.8, the 35/1.2 can sometimes be soft, but when I shoot with it for what it is, I like the way it renders:

i'm never sure what to make of this lens. just when i think it is not giving me what i want, i'll get images that fit the mood perfectly.
