lenshood and filter for your 50 1.8 LTM?

while searching the auction site i found this

the listing if for fuji x10. i wonder if this would fit with the 50 1.8 LTM.. anyone can try/test it?

i'm loving these canon ltm 50's lately. i just grab a user copy from keh for $76. hope it would be fine since it has some marks and particles in the inner element. next time i'll invest for a good 1.4.

any comment? i'm having a hard time to decide whether to get a 40mm uv/mc filter or 40-40.5 stepup ring + a metal lenshood. how does it looks like with your setup? a lenshood is much better?

Scored one of those lenses off ebay few weeks ago. Got 40-40.5 step up ring, 40.5 mm UV filter and generic vented hood. Looks good and works fine, possibly easiest option as 40mm filters and hoods aren't easy to find and think the Fuji hood may be too wide for a 50mm lens.
