What do you mean with vintage? Scanned from magazines? Postcards?

At first I thought my Mac was broken.

Hm... Or Mr. Vincent is the best traveled photographer in the world superb in all kinds of photography, or he is presenting on his Flickr account photographs of others photographers as his own.

Oh, i am not the best traveled photographer.

Some photographers sale their photos online, many website sell photos bought from photographers, there is another way to get photos.

I have a friend once buy and sell photos online, he gives me a lot of authorized pictures.

Authorization should be visible. On Flickr as well as on this website. Photographers here present rather their own work.

Something about this seems so sketchy. When I first saw the title post, I thought it was actual vintage photographs from the past. Others have found old negatives at yard sales and so on, but this just seems like post-processed stock photography..... strange. What's the point?

There certainly seems to be . . .

What sort of photo rights does your friend have, that he can 'give' you 'authorized' photos from other photographers, which you then post on Flickr with your copyright attached?

This stinks on so many levels, stolen images, post processed to look well–totally Sh°* quite unlike any 'vintage' photo I've ever seen.
I hate to really come down on you about this, but I don't see how you the OP could have the nerve.

I collect vintage colour photos Autochromes, Dufay colour and Kodachromes
here is a real vintage 1908 colour image.

Please don't post anymore of your rubbish fauxtographs.

those photos obviously are not vintage, you can even see modern design catamarans in one of those. as if fiberglass catamarans like that were around even 50 years ago..

plus i'm not sure but i think one of those polar bear images is copywrited to coca-cola, is it not?

mm i don't know what you're trying to do with this thread but it's pretty strange.
