First version is screw mount, may fit.

V.2 is m-mount, will not fit.

It's an outstanding lens.

It does, (provided you have the screwmount version in mind). It's a good combination, nicely compact too.

Best camera to go with it is probably the FED-2 with a finder on top - with the Zorki-4 you can pretend the viewfinder covers 35mm, but it really doesn't and I end up hunting around a lot.

yes the screw mount version of course.

anyway, the voigtlander color skopar 35mm 2.5 is far better compared to a good version of a jupiter 12 in terms of image quality?
Talking about sharpness with f stops above 8, the voightlander is far better against the jupiter 12? or is not so perceptible...things for "pixel counters"?
And about contrast? which is more contrasty?

Thank you

I have both (a CV 35/f2.5 and a good Jupiter-12) and I would pick the Skopar any day already for its flare resistance. It's simply a far better lens. Also the ergonomics are much better, you can change the aperture without reaching the lens, for example.

The main virtue of the Jupiter-12 seems to be that it's relatively cheap. I used a J-12 for as long as I could not afford the CV, and since then I mostly haven't looked back.

the Skopar is by far the better lens!
less distortion, less falloff, better sharpness across the frame .. more contrast (I found that is only difficult with some slide films)

I have the CV in the M-mount version with tabs for focus and aperture tho, which is by far the best version mechanically (but the same optical design)
