I think it would be appropriate to say that this little lens does a great job of not standing between a photographer and excellent photos.
Love the work you guys are posting here.

This lens seems to be a jewel... I'm looking for a little 35mm and I'm thinking about this lens or de C Biogon T* 2.8/35... has anyone used them both?
|
Hello
The Skopar is a little softer in the corners
at wide apertures than the Biogon, centre is
very sharp.
But it is nice and small, light and has built
in hood.

Thank you tonyc!
I'm thinking in a LITTLE lens in 35mm for travelling with a film camera: slides (Agfa 100 Precisa CT) and B/W (Argenti Pan-X).
Regards,
Xabier.

Simon, those are some great portraits - very natural colors. May I ask what film did you use?

portra 400. which is horribly expensive. kodak vr plus might have done the job as well.

These are all great shots and just may have answered my question as for a good everyday lens for my Bess R2. I sold my Nokton 40mm/1.4 ( I thought I was going to sell both, then decided to keep Bessa) now I want a wide lens to accompany my newly acquired Jupiter 8.
What are the significant diffrences between the LTM and the M-mount? There are two on KEH right now and a couple here. I feel a GAS attack coming on.

From the archives ... (Feb 2007, Sapporo. 100ACROS, M6, lab developing)
I later replaced this lens with the 35/1.4 Summilux pre-ASPH but was looking for a companion recently (E39 filter and closer focus). I had my eye on various 35/2.0 Summicron lenses but since prices are insane I remembered this little gem ... Ordered one today and it will be the first lens that I finally regretted having sold ...
