The little picture by my name, on the left, was taken by an ex in the early 60's. Does it count?
Regards, David

Actually taken after we had parted ways. The relationship just kind of faded away, but we remain friends. She just got married a few months ago.

Sorry I can't show the shot but it's on an uncut roll of slide film and it's a picture of my soon to be high school girlfriend sitting poolside...she would have been 18 and I was 17 when I took it...I've had that roll of film over 30 years...there are other high school friends on that roll...I hang on to it not just because she's on it but due to everyone on it...
My wife has never seen these slides and although she never met the Ex-girlfriend she (my wife) will mention her every once and a while...mostly when someone mentions the name Kelly...
Pretty sure that's the only photographs I have of any serious Ex of mine...
There might be another of a young girl I dated a few times but for the life of me I cannot recall her name...

Pictures of my ex wife frighten me. And I don't scare easily.

few girlfriends = camera obsession = few girlfriends
presenting my ex wife... she is the reason I got into photography... I felt this relationship needs to be documented so I bought my first camera a Minolta Hi-matic. By the time of this picture I had moved up to a Minolta SLR. always missed the rangefinder experience and bought my first Leica as things were winding down for us. (can't say that really helped things at that point) Still have the M3 and about ten trays of Kodachromes if you would like to come over and look at them. I am not bitter and hope this does not come across that way.... she was a wonderful person and I will be forever grateful for what a great mother she is for our kids

I deleted the Flickr photo after realizing my current girlfriend would see it. I think this is the best place to post this.

I have the same list when I get up in the morning. After two Ibuprophens, two cups of coffee followed by a one mile walk, it goes away. (Her tilt looks a lot better than mine).

Ex-GF shot with Ex-Camera
This was taken about 15 years ago, pretty sure I was shooting with a Minolta SLR back then and hadn't even heard of rangefinders at the time

Hi Shirley,
The image is not showing here. Is the image file saved at some server or is it in your computer? It will not show up for others if it is a link to your computer.

Awesome thread! I really can't see how anyone would read this thread and find it to be anything but classy. Many not only posted photos, but gave backstory. So often the RFF threads are about gear and technical aspects of photography...and did I mention gear? But all of that gear and knowledge is useless unless we are using it to capture meaningful life moments, whether that be portraits, landscapes, street photography, etc. Kudos to all who shared. I met my wife in junior high, started dating her halfway through college (we coincidentally went to the same college), married her 6 years later, had our first child 2 years ago, and we'll celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary next month. If I had any photos of exes I would surely share, but alas, I don't. Thanks to all who have shared!

An old slide taken in the Kimberley area of West Australia in about 1981. That's my ex-wife on the left with our eldest son, who is now a father himself. The bare-arsed fellow in the background is my brother, heading down the gorge for a spot of skinny-dipping...

I'm so glad it came to an end. It was only when it was over I realised what weight she was around my neck.
Back packing through Kenya (poor scans of velvia probably):

This thread needs more boyfriends!
a boyfriend - and I married him. My late husband Tony and I at our wedding - never mind how long ago.
and a boyfriend I met two years after my husband died the late Jim McCabe escorting me at my elder son's wedding.
