dad, march a year ago. i went through a drawer of his last effects in tennessee today. he had seen to it i get his smith and wesson model 10 revolver. it is a precious possession that will go to one of my boys one day. he would have laughed with me at the thought of posting this photo.

My father was already very ill at this point, he´d lost 2 stone just prior to this picture, and overweight to begin with he was not. Still like it though, it´s still very much my dad as I remember him.

Dad and my sister, 1970. I remember taking it with Mom's Rolleicord, one of the first times I tripped a shutter.
This is the first Father's Day without him.
