Any more cards arrived since nightstar's post?
I expected to get the last few, but haven't. Still, a pretty good ratio for me.
It has me thinking about another round...
I am at work this morning as I'm posting this but will start another thread later today I think.

Rob, excellent - another round will be good.
I've just bought a 5 by 7 view camera so may try to do a contact print for the project. The contact I had in the last round was just exquisite.

I keep getting emails from Moo.com, and have been thinking of printing another card to send to friends.
I am up for round 2.

Excellent idea.
Could we tweak it a bit so that instead of a postcard we do a 'Print in an Envelope' and restrict the size of the print or envelope.
Costs might have put off some people and with price of postage forever increasing, price has to be a factor. First Class letter post here in GB has just gone up by 30%.
I'm up for it!

I just ordered some stickers from moo... I also vote for a second postcard project, though I probably won't be able to get things out until the end of June.
I also have to respectfully disagree with Jesse, and say that we keep it as a postcard–postal abuse is a big part of the fun.

I'm in. Either way, if postcard or print. Since the main cost from germany are the stamps, it makes not much difference for me. Visually I would prefer postcards.

Hi Rob, I'd be up for round 2. I'm thinking about using Moo this time after seeing the quality. I also like the postcard theme, most arrive pretty well considering the distance, and also postcard rates are a bit lower than envelopes. Plus, the mail people get to see the photos too. Share the love!

Jesse, in the UK is the cost to send a letter less than that to send a postcard? In the US the cost to send a postcard is less. If so, then a 4x6 print in an envelope is in effect the same(ish) as a post card, and if more economic for some participants I think that is a good option.

At the last project, the cost of a letter and postcard in the UK was the same, but sending overseas the letter cost more - I found out to my cost

Likewise, sending a letter or postcard overseas from the US is more expensive than sending one domestically.

Here's a 10% off Moo code: http://www.moo.com/share/8gkfw8
However, if you use the above, I also get some discount on a future order, so use a discount code from a moo customer who you'd like to benefit.

Last time round the GB costing of sending letter or postcard was the same - or at least that was what I was charged. However although postage is a big cost factor so is the cost of a commercially produced postcard as against a print.
As a indication, did anyone work out what it cost them to send 38/39 Moo produced postcards - was it less than $100?

If I am remembering correctly it cost me in the $90 range first time around for Moo cards and postage, given that US postage rates are less expensive it seems than those oversees.

I could be ready for a second round, if the dead line is not too early. Post card printed by Moo with normal shipment (due to cost saving) took a few weeks. And I would like to shoot a "special" photo for next round, if any!

My cards were ~USD 40 (ifolor.ch) + postage, most of it overseas. I think it was ~USD 50. So I was still under USD 100.

Just 'found' this thread and I'am still a bit puzzled I didn't came along its earlier postings. Quite interesting and exciting project this must have been for all its participants, and considering most members received about 32 postcards (with 38 people paticipating) the efforts were certaintly quite rewarding! I can image though that some fellow members didn't want to participate because of the costs involved.
For me however that would be no barrier to participate if a similar project would be organized again, I would certainly like to join a postcard project!

CRY, Basel
CV 50/2.5 with Konica Hexar RF on Fujicolor C200 @1/60s f/8.0
I'm late and we already started round two! But I finished my blog of this project at last showing off all the postcards I got, including link back to the explaining posts of the authors, where available. To some extent this should give some of our feeling during this beautyful project.
This mural art in Basel, Klybeck quarter, was one of my candidates for the postcards and made it finally to the print.

Count me in for round two. I'm still in favor of self-portraits.
