Haven't used it much lately, so this one is a few years old. Still one of my favourites I took with any camera

Gliderbee, nice shots! I particularly like the first three. Your XA is in great condition. And I quite understand owning more than one.

mretina - I can't answer your flidkr question (when it comes to computers I can barely tie my shoes) but I just wanted to compliment you on your photographs, and that combination of film and scanner is absolutely perfect.
Perhaps someone here can help mretina?

mretina, In your flickr photostream, tap or click in the photo you want to copy. Then look for the "share" tab just above the photo; click on it, and a drop- down box will appear with the html/bbc code. Select and copy that code, and paste it into the message box in RFF. When you click "post quick reply" the photo image will appear.

Just go my first XA2 yesterday and I got to say , from the pictures and price and opinions on the internet, I was expecting something much lighter and plasticky so it relly blew my mind as to how well it is made. Shot almost the whole roll in the afternoon , and that never happens .

Took my XA to Maui in May. I'm never again leaving home without it.

The Take Memories Home hummingbird shot is especially fine. Am hunting for an XA to add to my other Maitani machines. I hope to find one with decent RF focusing.

Those are lovely Maui shots, a great vacation destination too.

Yes, well; you see there's the internet and there's RFF. 'nuff said, I think.

Thanks, River Dog and Dana B. The XA that I used for the photos on this page I purchased from a member here. It's a little scuffed up, but fully operational, and has a larger rf patch than my other XA (so it's easier to focus). It's good to have a camera with a good lens that you can slip into a pocket.

I really love my XA, and this thread needed a bump.
One from last summer, USS North Carolina.

Both shot on Fuji Superia 400, scanned (badly) on Canon 9000F
