is there some haze on the glass?
they are known for haze...but easy to clean.

Hi,
this thread on RFF made me buy a 50 Canon 1.2 LTM and as expected it front focusses on my M8.
Yours seems spot on focuswise,
did you calibrate it yourself or had it collimated?

The previous owner had it CLA'd. I generally find shooting at 1.2 pretty tricky and prefer to keep the subject at least 6' away

Sorry for only seeing your question now. Honestly I don't know. Shooting this wide open is always tricky, so I just tend to shoot three shots in a row moving focus slightly each time. Usually one of these is sharp then.

Not so much into the shallow dof sort of photography really, I have started to like this lens for low light situations a lot.
