If it wasn't raining I would go out and cut down my eucalyptus tree to get a veneer for an Oly OM to give to Keith - priceless, both camera and Keith!

Add a bespoke box.
Add a 1/1 color print signed on reverse (hopefully not a fence photo)

I'm not. I arrived too late with dollarettes in my sweaty hand. Someone beat me here. If you are from RFF please share pictures of what I've missed!

Wonder where veneer that thin could be found. I would like to do one of my C-3's in wood. Oh yes the notebook was the only thing in my price range.

After reading some of the reactions in here, I'm sure the owner of the site is crying all the way to the bank.

Holy cow, that's marked-up.

I guess you could get a "Harry Potter Argus C3 rangefinder" for under $100, do some testing on your own -- and it's covered under eBay Buyer Protection! Surely you could save yourself a grand or two.

I think I'll start customizing old cameras. Anyone interested in my 'Elvis' limited edition cameras? White leather with 'E' in rhinestones in a shag carpet carrying case. I'm accepting pre-orders. Reserve yours today! $5,999 includes a certificate of authenticity.

Actually you can buy some of the veneers laid up on fleece back. They are very thin, but you have to buy 4x8 sheet.
