Really nicely composed shot - great B+W tones too.

Iso 1600 monochrome from the R-d1 and a 35mm canon f/2. Very little editing. Is it just me or does the grain from the r-d1 at 1600 sometimes make your shot just right? Something I couldnt get from any of my other digital cameras

Joe,

Love this shot - composition, tone etc. Great capture.

Also really like the colour shot of the market stall.

Very nice indeed. An ultra wide that doesn't emphasize wide angle distortion.

Hello Everyone, just thought I'd share some of mine. I just got the little gem that is the R-D1s a little over two weeks ago, and she is beautiful. The first is with the CV 35mm 1.4 MC at 1/15th sec. and the second is my lovely girlfriend with the industar 61 2.8 at 1/8th. Both are wide open hand held at iso 1600.

I can't say enough how much I'm enjoying this thing!

I am always again astonished by the quality of high-ISO night-shots of the R-D1. Really love that and missing mine...
