Just love the natural geometry of the shot and the bucket make it for me.

My picks from last week:
Wonderful, dynamic image from porktaco:
Nice composition and light, from randomm:
Striking 60's-era portrait from Mlehrman:
Superb portrait from tbarker13:
Love the contrast between well-worn face and spotless shirt, this from jcrutcher:
One of my favorite RFF pics ever, from Simon (OurManInTangier). For me this is an essentially perfect photo:
From Lynn - I love the low light of this photo, the luminous clouds and single light in the background:
Great "psychological" image from filmfan, enhanced by harsh contrast and grain.
Very striking portrait, from mudride:
Finally, delightful shot from mudman:
Had a few others, but running out of time.
Randy

My picks:
dotur, from the light that was available at that time, you could say it was a perfect moment. The lights in the windows, street, street lights, and sky are beautiful.
boomguy57, love the muted colors and the reflections on the windows.
Katie, just a fun shot playing with the camera
OurManInTangier, hat, cigarette and hands, you can't keep your eyes off of them. A 10 all the way!
Keith, this has everything, composition, light, tones, the figure exiting the tunnel and I like how the tracks bend off to the right, it adds expectation to the scene.
StefanJozef, caught him in the right spot, the scene makes you think.
randomm, super hi-key shot that works really well.
Frank Version Two, this is just so good in all respects.

Thanks to Rogrund, Richard G, Randy and Richard for including one of my shots.
My picks this week, starting with my favourtite that I like so much I actually left a numerical rating...I don't normally do this but I felt compelled.
***** by Keith
Spectre3 by filmfan
A very close second favourite for this week and a brilliant picture, one I'd happily have on my wall despite the fact it may creep me out at night.
Two from dotur, the first; window shot
Ivan seems to capture some beautifully thoughtful and candid portraits, this one is my favourite and a much trickier kind of shot than he makes it appear.
followed by dancers
I only saw this earlier today and I'm so glad I did.
Untitled by Martini
Just an extremely consistent photographer and provider of some stunningly good work, like this.
The Stone Forest by Carole Dame
I love the monochromatic feel of this excellent landscape as much as the fact she's also caught a very human moment in amongst the towering rocks.
Camondo Museum 3 by Olivier S
An utter surprise and a complete delight, I didn't think a picture of a statue could be so...tender...subtle...enjoyable. Time to think again.

Thanks for including me in this collection of excellent images. My "fog horns blasting" shot was one of the first of my photos that came out how I envisioned it on the scene... such a rarity for me.
I like this one by khunyapag
...as well as this one from Frank

The colorful flower is so stately and graceful- a great photo! Love the back lighting too.

thank you randy...
for me this week...
OMIT, as others have noted. wonderful tonality. bogart hat and smoke. very, very evocative.
blackcamera~s.smyth
i like all the pictures in this set but these two really stand out.
this one, yes because she has a fantastic ass, but also because she's cornered, she's yielding and inviting, she has great back muscle definintion, the tile lines... i also like that she's a little out of focus. oddly, it draws my eye even more strongly. perhaps because i have to work a little.
i like this one for a different set of reasons. the hair and the skin look so soft and touchable. she's covering up, almost shy, closing her legs, certainly not inviting. and i like how the light is heavy at the front and very weak at the back.
semrich
perfect, perfect timing. the ball is rotated just right, the focus is just right, the position relative to the door frame is just right, the balancing figures on the borders are just right and the boy's shape is just right. photo of the week.
frank
this is very evocative for me. the look is about 1972. the light is the golden light of memory. the wood radiator covers around the bottom of the windows are what we had in certain rooms at the schools i went to around that time. the bay window comes from friends' houses, also from that time. the drapes... well, they're hideous. and perfectly 70s. could have been in my elementary school. the model has that whole hot someone's older sister thing going on. love the verticals and the shadow on her sweater.
gbegonj
crazytilt world just around the corner. the shadows match up so well with the columns.
katie
i liked all her pictures this week, but this one most of all. it's mysterious, light-and-shadowey, and it gets a moment where the motion stops for him to drink what he's just put to his mouth. i've been in a bunch of rooms like this in central texas. or, perhaps more importantly, i think i have after looking at this photo.
alex krasotkin
lovely winter-turns-to-spring northern light portrait. the girls are fairhaired and blend very naturally with the winter setting. great MF detail. what really did it for me was the girl on the right. fantastic expression.
print44
close work, great light/shadow, love the shapes against the lines of the bus.
boomguy57
fredo, you're nothing to me now. not a brother, not a friend...

Like many others I loved the photo by OurManInTangier, and Keith's rail tunnel shot.
This shot by dotur was also superb. A very dramatic image.
