First test shots from my GA645. As-scanned by NCPS, straightened (I need to get used to that VF) and resized to 50% - the larger versions are here:
http://www.pbase.com/smcleod965/medium_format

For quite a while I was dubious as to whether MF would "work" for me (fewer shots on a roll, fixed-lens bodies, loading roll film, etc.) but after seeing the results the answer is a resounding YES! Somehow I misplaced the first B&W roll shot in the GA645 and didn't find it until after I'd mailed the color test rolls from this camera and the GW690III. It's going in with the next 2 B&W rolls which are loaded right now I have to say the GA645 is really fun to use, too...

These were taken on a dull, squally day at Cronulla, NSW. We got absolutely drenched that afternoon but the cameras stayed dry in their bags which is what mattered!

Extremely nice tonality. What developer did you use with that TRI-X? Are these images directly from the negatives or scanned prints? If prints, what paper/developer did you use to make them? Thanks in advance for sharing the additional information!

Thanks man-- I used XTOL 1+1 for developer (my favorite). I scanned the negs on an Epson V500 and the JPEGs that you see are screen shots of the edited file.

For landscape work in extremely confined spaces, I continue to derive great joy from the RB67 and 37mm Fisheye lens, using Ilford Pan F film exposed at ISO32 (from last week-end, a spontaneous and lovely road trip with my wife):

Bridal Veil Falls

(Ilford Pan F @ ISO32, Sekor-C 37mm f/4.5 lens, Mamiya RB67)

Pan F is, in general, lovely for high-key images, with astounding resolving power in 6x7cm format:

Long Tom Cannon

(Ilford Pan F @ ISO32, Sekor-C 140mm f/4.5 Macro lens, Mamiya RB67)

My latest entry: The R.T.M museum railroad in the Netherlands. Shot on Agfa APX-100, expired in 2003, rated @ ISO25. Yashica Mat 124. Cropped of course. Developed for 6min in Kodak HC-110 'B' at 23 degrees Celsius.
