no complaints has turned into much enthusiasm since I redid some scans myself

I guess this speaks to the need to do things yourself if you want them done right. Even though you lose so much at 1024, this rescan has loads more bite and dimensionality than I ever knew this negative contained. Technique extends beyond just taking the shot, and this is a lesson I am glad to learn.

I was looking at lens reviews a few weeks ago. I decided the last thing I need for a M8 is a lens with more contrast. I bought nothing. My son bought the 35 2.0 ASPH which I compared to my version 4. Nice lens, but not enough different to upgrade.
