EXIF data and Serial Number
OK, I'll be dipped if I can find the X-Pro1 body serial number in EXIF data (JPEG). As far as I can tell the LENS serial number IS in the EXIF data, but not the body.
Using an EXIF viewer I see no serial numbers, using the Preview Inspector in OSX I see the lens serial number. Silkypix shows very little EXIF data and no serial numbers.
It would be nice to have this data for obvious and not so obvious reasons.
Obvious, assigning image output to a specific device.
Not so obvious, some of the camera trace software scans images on the 'Net for serial numbers if/when a camera is stolen.
Did I miss it or is it in the RAW data not displayed by Silkypix?
The online camera tracking service I use also does not see the serial number.
