John Cleese on creativity
I loved it. Well worth the 36 minutes.
And, applicable to dry spells and thinking GAS can solve it.

Vickko, thanks for the good link. It's a good subject, and John Cleese has credentials to talk about it.

Great video, I wish it was required viewing for the management teams and cooperate execs at the company I work for.

He talks about space and time being important factors to facilitate creativity. You wonder if thinking freely about only four things that matter (mechanically) in taking a picture; aperture setting, shutter speed, and ISO, focus have been to some extent with auto and semi-auto cameras a determent for photographic creativity. If we, and I'm always using a P&S, or auto everything camera, are stifling our creativity by not choosing to have the space and time to make open decisions about our images.

Very good. Beautifully structured. The joke running through the talk was very ingenious and I have not seen it done like that before.
So, how many RFFers does it take to change a light globe?
Just one, but he'll need to get rid of a few older globes first to be in a position to buy the new globe and he just wants to know if there is a screw mount adapater available for his bayonet light fitting as Bunnings have screw in globes on discount this week.
