"a fairy tale" Nikkor-S.C 5cm 1.4

Great photos, you guys share with the Nikkor!

I am on a trip at the moment and opted, to take the 50/1 with me, but I regret it so far - wish, I took the Nikkor-S.C!

Here is an older one:

My first shots with Nikon 50mm f1.4 Rangefinder Lens

RFF'ers,

Just got this lens with a bargain Nikon S rangefinder camera......I really like the lens and its clarity. I had to do a quick repair on the shutter fabric of the camera to cover some pin-holes, but it works great. The lens is very crisp.

Really good balance between sharpness and bokeh. And the colors are great, of course.

I second Helen, the entrance photograph is brilliant!
The framing, exposure, moment between cashier and visitor, … and only in the very late moment am I realizing, that she is actually sitting in the open, and it's all an illusion!

Brilliant!

I've never quite figured out how to post pictures here, but I'll give it a try.

S2 Nikkor 5cm 1.4 stopped down/wide open

FWIW: I shot the first one to post on 'The Democratic Photograph,' my favorite flickr group;

and I saw the second one as a tree dressed for a formal occasison.
