There's a lot of tasty cameras here.
I thought it only right that I should show off my faithful Rolleiflex 3.5F. This is my main camera - everything else is just a backup.

Decent image , but besides the fact that flexarets are nice cameras I always wonder how does someone ask a person to sit for him. We have enough gear threads , one about the social side would be nice as well. Maybe some tips? Thanks.

Simple.

If you're young and good-looking, it might be *friendly* interaction.

But if you're old and unsightly, well, it'll have to involve some money.

My Rolleiflex 2.8F

I literally went from the thought of taking the photo, to taking it with my iPhone, to post-processing it using the "Snapseed" App on my iPhone, to uploading it to my Facebook, to posting it here, all in about 10minutes.

I have a 3.5F planar (currently with Harry Fleenor for a full CLA) and an earlier version of automat model 2 with Xenar lens ( currently with Mark Hansen for shutter CLA).

As I really enjoyed using my 1st rollei, a Automat Xenar so I got the 3.5F planar almost immediately. I got the beater Tessar to experiment on/ pass the time while I wait for their return. The beater Tessar was a pleasant surprise and I bought at a far lower price than these 2 (and it still works).

Here are pics of them prior to them heading off for their CLA respectively.

thanks! i've decided to keep it in its current shape, although it wasn't totally out of reach to also restore the worn enamel (not with my oven, though, it only goes to 270°C and 350° is needed to bake it properly...)

When shooting with it (you can see the results here : http://rangefinderforum.com/forums/s...d.php?t=116309 ) it's hard to believe it is actually such a beautiful camera, and a piece of history, as well as a perfectly operating tool (save the mirror, looking for a broken polaroid pleaaase!)

I finally found one, in good shape (taking lens is really spotless, uncommon for a 2.8C).

Here it is, the TLR I have longed forever for. Only last month did i finally identify the camera as an Early Rolleiflex T and then found this guy.
This cutie looks and works like it has just exited the factory. Sorry for the iDork shot but I have no digital cameras anymore .

Ikoflex III, had a broken shutter, stuck winding mechanism and frame counter.
Looking forward to see the results of the roll of Ektar 100 I shot with it last week.

Thanks! The case came with the camera, missing it's front flap but still perfect for hooking a carrying strap...hood is an A36 FSU intended for an Industar -22.

Got my Xenar back from Mark Hanson.. So took a pic of both cameras... Now still waiting for my 3.5F to come back from Harry Fleenor.

Yashica 635 with the other 2 Rolleiflex (Tessar - center, is the only one I dare to clean up, the Xenar went for a CLA with Mark Hansen)

This just arrived in the mail yesterday! I have taken all of one photo with it but I can't wait to get out this weekend and put it through its paces. EDIT: After having put my first roll of film through it I found out that the lens is in amazing shape and the slow shutter speeds are starting to free up after repeated use and that there is a small light leak on the film door where the black yarn stuff is missing. I'll use gaffer's tape until I can afford to send it for a CLA.
