LTM/M mount lenses for the Olympus PEN?

Hello all,

Like to ask if it is actually possible to mount LTM/M mount lenses onto the Olympus PEN F/FT, considering its relatively short flange distance.

Is there a possibility? or was it already done?

Thanks in advance and looking forward to the many expert opinions!

Best
Wei

I doubt it. The PEN F flange distance is 1.15mm longer than the Leica M distance, so if adapted mechanically, the M lens wouldn't focus at infinity on the Pen.

Leica Lens on Olympus Pen F(T)

According to the information included with a Praktica-mount adapter for Pen F, there is a Leica Mount Adapter (Mount Adapter L; flangeback 36.3m/m, screw) which "can be used only in short-range photography". With a 50mm Leica lens the range is from about 1 ft. 2 in. to about 1 ft. 6 in. With a 135mm Leica lens the range is from about 3 ft. 7 in. to about 8ft. 9 in. A little table also includes ranges for 35mm and 85mm lenses.
