Just got the book today. Looks real interesting. I'll try to do an Amazon review if I can - it's not really my kind of thing, but I think I'm going to enjoy your book.

Just finished reading the book. It is a page turner. Very interesting story and sad ending.
The pictures go very well with the story and the portraits are just terrific.
Now where do I get moonshine in MA?

Ciao

Joerg

Mine arrived in the post, just before Easter. I've had a chance to open it up today and have a look. In fact I did more than just look - I've been through the photos two or three times then, having dipped into the writing, I read the whole text cover-to-cover, referring to the photos again while reading.

I can say without reservation that you've achieved the objectives quoted above. The book is well designed, with a layout that has the photographs and text complementing each other nicely. The quality of the materials and printing is excellent, as are the qualities of the photography and the writing. I can't see how you might have produced anything better without using very different materials and aiming at a very much higher (possibly prohibitive) price-point.

The text and the photographs combine to give a "flavored" view of "Popcorn" and his surrounds and circumstances. (And more than a hint that the flavor of his product might not be for the faint of heart.)

Your book offers excellent value, and I'm very glad I bought a copy. I thank you, and the rest of the team who produced the book, for your efforts.

...Mike

Mike,

So glad you like it and thAnks for the great review.

The book is so popular that we're having trouble getting enough books to fill orders. We've picked up two independent book stores, three retail stores and two museums. Barnes and Noble has expressed an interest in carrying it as well. We received an order for 400 books for one retailer today. This the result of two radio shows, a fantastic review in the news paper, one book signing, and one day on the road selling. We have another radio show on Tuesday and four more book signings coming.

Thanks everyone for your support and kind comments.
