Unhappy RF transplantation and calibration

Hello there! I hope you guys here can give me some information on how to fully calibrate a rangefinder of the electro series.
I have transplantet a new rangefinder in my electro 35 cc (which is a little different to the 35 or 35 gsn) but found all screws i need for adjusting it.
So now knowing where the infinity adjustment and the 1 meter adjustment is, how should i proceed?
Adjust the 1 meter first? Then the infinity?

And while I'm at it, do you know if i also have to adjust the paralax image to the new body?

Ah! and one last thing: could it be, that the numbers on the focus-ring are not quite accurate? if i focus at a 1 meter distant object with the help of a ground-glass plate, the focus ring tells me its 90cm away... i really dont know if this could cause any problems??

Thank you very much for the help and all the best

Moriz

Sry, but could you please send a picture where you show these adjusting screws with a little description? ... for the common good and for the sake of future generations

I've adjusted the rangefinder on my GSN. With the camera mounted on a solid tripod, focus on a distant point and adjust the infinity setting first--both horizontal and vertical. Then measure off one meter accurately and adjust the one-meter setting second. Make small, gradual turns in the adjusting screw until you get a feel for the changes it makes, because a little turning can make a big difference in the focus.

On the GSN, the one-meter adjustment is made not with a screwdriver but with a 5.5mm wrench on the linkage under the front edge of the rangefinder.

Can you post a picture of these screws please?

I apologize for the long delay. In case they are still needed, see the service manual at http://www.scribd.com/doc/19302555/Y...Service-Manual, photos 34, 35, and 36.
