what is it?

plenty of fakes, but has anyone seen a blue enameled fake WWII Leica? Marked with Reichswehr top left, standard fake imprimatur; but the enamel threw me a little. Thoughts? Fed, Zorki, dipped in enamel...?

I think that a lot of people out there, are destroying good ex-USSR cameras to turn them into never existed "rarities"...

In this way, original and untouched Feds, Zorkys and Kievs, will become excessively rare items for top collectors!...

It is a Zorki C with a refinished exterior.

...in other words a camera that was designed and produced well after the last Wehrmacht's soldier surrendered to the winning powers...

Zorki C + blue "Hammerite" type paint. Total fake, mid/late 50s. I thought I'd seen most variations but I've never seen hammer-finish before!

I've got a couple old beaters I've been thinking about using hammerite paint on. Just for the look. Used to be you could buy crinkle finish paint too, but haven't seen it since the advent of the big box stores.
