50mm f/2: how much is it worth?
I would like to sell this lens (not using that much rf gear these days, unfortunately...) and I have no idea how much should I ask for it.
It's in very good conditions, and I'm in EU (maybe in the US this kind of lens has a better value?). How much do you think it's worth?

Which 50/2? Or am I missing something in the post? Konica, presumably, given the forum?
Cheers,
R.

Sure! Sorry, I forgot to mention it: it's a konica hexanon m. One of those which fit on hexar cameras.

There has been one in the RFF classifieds for several days. It was $550, now reduced to $525 if that helps you any.

I sold mine for, I believe, $725 recently.
I don't remember exactly. Maybe $700... Mint condition with caps and leather pouch, but no box.

Hi vin,
just to give you an idea, photohaus, a reputable dealer here in Germany, offers one of these in condition A/B with caps and box for 499 Euros in their online shop right now. This comes with a dealer's warranty. From the photos it appears to be in almost mint cosmetic condition.

Thanks, Joe! The lens is now available in the ads section here at RFF. Hope the price is reasonable.

For me, it's worth quite a lot. I've used it on my M7 and now on my M9. I regard it as a Summicron killer.

Stunning lens. I sold mine a few months back for A$420... bit too cheap I guess ;-) It didn't agree with my M3. I could not focus the damn thing yet it was fine on my R3A and Leica CL. The Planar 50 that replaced the Hex focusses perfectly too and am now very happy. I love the Planar a lot, but miss the Hex... nice hood, slightly lower contrast perhaps, yet equally as sharp as the Planar. Good luck with the sale.

That's rather odd: my M-Hex 50 focuses just fine on my M3, even wide-open and close up (well, as close as my M3 allows).

my first 50/2 did not focus correctly on the M8. A bit of thin copper tape on the cam solved this.
the second one I got for € 250,-- in good, but not quite EX condition has not seen an M yet, but will some day, I am sure
