Tips for re-skinning a Pentax MX
Any tips for re-skinning a Pentax MX? I just got a bunch of leather from cameraleather. Everything looks easy except the MX and OM-1 because of their self timers. The cameraleather site has detailed instructions for removing the self timer on the OM-1.

No such luck for the MX. Would love to hear from anyone who's done this before.

Did this with a Yashica FX-3 and the tip there was to set the self timer lever to the 9 o'clock position. It made it easier to slip the leather on towards the side of the mirror box rather than along it. Not sure how applicable that is to the MX though.
