Nex flash?

I have a Nex 7 pre ordered along with an a77. Is there anyway to fire an off camera flash with the Nex 5n? Or will the 7 be able to? I have a wireless Sony flash.

The 3/5/C/N have that odd proprietary accessory slot, and there is no standard flash shoe adapter for it around yet, so you can't do more than trigger slave flashes from one of the two dedicated NEX flashes available so far. The Nex 7 has a regular Minolta SLR flash socket - not quite standard, but adaptable.

My Nex-5 will not trigger my Sony flash wirelessly. I think this is one of my very few disappointments with the camera.

You can get aftermarket triggers as long as they can cope with the pre-flash. I may order a couple of parts and see if I can get something crude to work rather than buy a new flash.
